DAY 1 :Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate - Dades Gorges
Today we drive through the High Atlas Mountains, passing highest road pass at Tizi-n-Tichka towards Ait Benhaddou Ksar, a UNESCO World Heritage kasbah. We explore this spectacular location, in guided excursion where several movies such as Gladiator, have been filmed.
After lunch in the village our Sahara journey continues to Ouarzazate,to visit famous Taourirt Kasbah. We continue to Skoura then Valley of the Roses and we stay overnight in Dades Gorges with dinner.
Our 3 days Marrakech tour to Merzouga and Fes continues and after breakfast we drive to the Todra Gorge. We enjoy short hike in the narrow kanyon then after lunch we continue travelling to Erfoud and Rissani. Later afternoon we reach the desert near Merzouga where we start our camel ride for about an hour to the Sahara camp. We will watch the spectacular sunset over the Erg Chebbi dunes. After dinner in camp we climb the nearby dunes and we will stay overnight at the desert camp in the heart of the desert.
DAY 3 : Merzouga - Middle Atlas and Fes
Today we will watch best sunrise over the dunes before riding the camels back to the hotel in Merzouga. Then after breakfast we will drive to Rissani to explore local souk. We continue to Erfoud, then we cross Middle Atlas mountains to Midelt and Ifran. We finish in Fes and your Morocco Desert Trek driver will drop you off at your hotel. End of Marrakech desert tour.
